1. Seller & service

UnoTask is provided by Abiodun Akorede Salami, an individual seller trading as UnoTask. When you use UnoTask, you are entering into a contract with Abiodun Akorede Salami.

UnoTask is a mobile-first task and ritual application designed to help you prioritize, focus, and build consistency through gentle daily prompts.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account, accessing, or using UnoTask, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

3. Eligibility & account

You must be at least 13 years old, or the legal age in your jurisdiction, and have the authority to enter into these Terms. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Subscription, payments & billing

UnoTask offers a free tier and an optional premium subscription, UnoTask Prime, billed monthly or yearly. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Payments, billing, tax, and subscription management are handled by our online reseller, Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all UnoTask orders. Paddle provides customer service inquiries, handles returns, and manages payment processing.

5. Refunds & cancellations

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new subscriptions. You may also cancel or manage your subscription at any time through the Paddle customer portal linked in the app settings, or by requesting a refund through Paddle.

6. Licence to use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use UnoTask for your personal or internal business purposes within your selected plan.

7. Restrictions & misuse

You agree not to:

  • use UnoTask for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws;
  • reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code;
  • resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the service without permission;
  • interfere with the security, availability, or performance of the service;
  • scrape, spam, harass, or upload harmful content.

8. Intellectual property

UnoTask, its design, branding, software, and content are owned by Abiodun Akorede Salami and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy or use our branding without permission.

9. Your content

You retain ownership of the tasks, notes, and other content you create in UnoTask. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and back up that content solely to provide the service to you.

9a. AI-assisted features

UnoTask offers optional AI-assisted features, including The Mirror (weekly reflections) and Smart Scheduling (time-slot rationales), which are generated by third-party large language models accessed through Lovable AI Gateway (currently Google Gemini). By using these features, you agree to the following:

  • Acceptable use. You must not use AI features to generate or attempt to generate unlawful content, hateful or harassing material, sexual content involving minors, malware, deepfakes, impersonation, fraud, or content that infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights. You must not attempt to jailbreak, bypass safety filters, or extract system prompts.
  • Your responsibility for inputs. You are responsible for the tasks, notes, and other content you submit as inputs. You confirm you have the rights to use that content and that it does not violate anyone else's rights or the law.
  • Your responsibility for outputs. You are responsible for how you use AI-generated outputs, including verifying their accuracy before relying on them or sharing them with others.
  • Accuracy disclosure. AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or out of date. They are provided for general reflection and productivity purposes only and do not constitute medical, mental-health, legal, financial, tax, or other professional advice. Do not rely on them for regulated or high-stakes decisions without independent verification by a qualified professional.
  • Intellectual property. As between you and us, you retain rights in your inputs. Subject to applicable law and the terms of the underlying model provider, you may use AI outputs generated for you in connection with your personal or internal business use of UnoTask. We make no warranty that outputs are free of third-party rights, and outputs generated by AI may not be eligible for copyright protection in every jurisdiction.
  • Rights-holder takedown. If you believe an AI output or user-submitted input infringes your intellectual property or other rights, contact us at support@unotask.app with enough detail to identify the content and your claim. We will review notices in good faith and, where appropriate, remove or restrict access to the content. We may terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.
  • Moderation rights. We may filter, refuse, restrict, or remove AI outputs and inputs, and we may suspend accounts, where we reasonably believe this policy or applicable law has been violated.

10. Service level

We strive to keep UnoTask available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Features may change as we improve the product.

11. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, engage in fraud or security risks, or repeatedly violate our policies. You may delete your account at any time from the app settings.

12. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for UnoTask Prime in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, except where prohibited by law.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify us for claims arising from your content, unlawful use, or violation of these Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Seller is resident, without regard to conflict of laws principles.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of UnoTask after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
