UnoTask is operated by Abiodun Akorede Salami, an individual seller trading as UnoTask. For privacy purposes, Abiodun Akorede Salami is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

2. What data we collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Account data: name, email address, authentication tokens, and profile preferences.
  • Task & ritual content: tasks, notes, progress, mission locks, journal entries, and streak data you create.
  • Usage data: app interactions, feature usage, and error reports used to improve the service.
  • Device & log data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and timestamps.
  • Cookies & session identifiers: essential tokens that keep you signed in and secure.

3. How we use your data

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • Creating and authenticating your account;
  • Providing, syncing, and backing up your tasks and rituals;
  • Maintaining security and preventing fraud;
  • Improving product features and fixing issues;
  • Providing customer support;
  • Processing subscriptions, payments, taxes, and invoices through Paddle.

4. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of contract performance (to provide UnoTask), legitimate interests (security, improvement, and support), and consent where required (for example, browser notifications).

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with trusted recipients who help us run UnoTask:

  • Lovable Cloud: hosting, database, authentication, and backend infrastructure.
  • Paddle: our Merchant of Record, which processes payments, subscription management, tax compliance, and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers: legal or accounting professionals, when necessary and under confidentiality.
  • Authorities: when required by law or to protect our rights and users.

6. International transfers

Your data may be stored or processed in countries outside your own, including where our hosting and payment providers operate. We rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses and adequacy decisions to protect your data.

7. Data retention

We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to keep it by law.

8. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to object to certain processing. We aim to respond to privacy requests within one month.

We use encryption, access controls, and secure hosting practices to protect your data. No system is completely secure, and we encourage you to use a strong, unique password.

We use only essential cookies and session tokens needed for authentication and app functionality. We do not use marketing or third-party advertising cookies.

11. Children's privacy

UnoTask is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us to delete it.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. We will post the updated version in the app and update the date above.
